They’re the ultimate fashion accessory with a virtually endless array of styles, colors, fits, lenses and so on. And despite all of us owning a few, we’re always one lost pair away from making a new addition to our collection. Whether you live in Miami Beach of in the mountains of Colorado, they’re appropriate – even necessary – to have year-round.

But back to style for a second. In the past several years, the plastic-rimmed look has soared to the top of the list in terms of fashion and desirability. And because plastic allows for so many custom variations, a SWAG master like me practically drools over the ways to customize a pair of sunglasses for a customer in need. Whether they want something that accompanies a dressed-up look, or something colorful that they can rage out with at a major concert, my SWAG artists and I can pull it off with finesse.

In general, it’s important for me to point out some of the basics when it comes to placing an order for customized sunglasses. And remember – our SWAG artistry is always free. And when you look at the following notes through that lens, these prices seem even sweeter. Here are some of our shade basics:

• We’ll match your frames to the PMS color that best compliments your logo
• We’ll imprint your frames with your own customized PMS color
• UV400 lenses (you’re welcome, eyes)

Standard production time is 30 days, but we can give you rush production (22 days) for an additional fee. Custom packaging is available upon request, but every pair comes in its own individual poly bag.

In addition, we have options for smaller quantities but be prepared to settle for standard colors with imprints on either the lenses (pinhole glasses, like at the games) or imprints on the arms.

In case you can’t visualize what your sunglasses might look like, we’d like to remind you that you can SWAG your frames with metallic paint, or a translucent or matte finish. If you want to put a cool design on the inside of the frames, or on the outside, you can do that. And if you want to SWAG your lenses – think lens stickers, halftones, electroplating or metallic tinting – we can do that, too. Here are some examples to help get your creative juices running:

FRAME PRINTING

Mix and match arm and frame colors with add a tone. Metallic paint, available in silver and gold is an eye catching option. Matte finish looks great with metallic printing and really makes your logo pop!

Full translucent frames are classic and trendy. They are perfect for geek-chic and offer a very clean look. We can add a drop of color to translucent frames to better fit your branding.

Step and repeat allows your clients logo to appear over the entire frame. Logos are pad printed or thermal transferred depending on logo complexity.

Inner arm printing is a great way to tie in social media. Print a website address, branded hashtags or twitter handles to increase engagement.

Great for highly complex logo designs or patterns, thermal transfer is a heat transfer process similar to tee-shirt transfer process.

LENS DECORATION

This is a chemical process that permanently bonds your logo to the lenses. It works best when the logo is not large blocks of color on the lenses. The logo can be placed on the lenses in different areas for visibility, depending upon the look you’re trying to achieve.

This is a chemical process that permanently bonds your logo to the lenses. This process prints your logo in hundreds of tiny dots all over the lenses. This allows for you to print a large color blocked logo while still allowing for visibility.

Lens stickers are vinyl (“mesh”) stickers that are affixed to the lenses. Lens stickers are digitally printed allowing for full color logos. You are able to see through the pinhole dots in the stickers. This printing technique works best with blocked logos and not text.

Metallic lenses are available in Red, Orange, Blue, Silver, Gold, Yellow. They add a unique touch to any pair of custom glasses with a holographic look.

PREMIUM ADD-ONS

Custom rivets require a custom mold and add branded detail to the sunglasses.

Available in durable microfiber. Custom imprints will look great in your pantone color. A vailable in black, gray, white and blue, with pantone matching available in higher quantities. Additional colors and thermal transfers are also available for a custom quote.
