Plastisol Screen Print

• The most popular and cost effective print technique
• Exact pantone color match available upon request
• Can be printed on any material without limitations, although printing on polyester is slightly more expensive
• Limited washability
• Pricing depends upon the number of colors and locations

Water-based Ink

• Delivers a soft feel, slightly faded vintage look, making the garment look like it’s ready to be sold in a trendy retail shop
• Ink seeps into the garment, making it so you can’t feel the print, especially after the first wash
• Cannot pantone color match
• Imprint stretches with the fibers of the shirt, no distorting or ink cracking
• Works best on light colored fabrics

Puff Ink

• A screen printing technique that uses an ink that raises off the fabric to create a tactile, 3D “puffed out” effect
• Can be applied to the entire design or just certain elements to make them stand out from the rest
• Not recommended for designs with a lot of detail
• Does not print on fabrics that that are more than 50% polyester

Heat Transfer

Bring all the vivid colors of your design to life with just a little heat and pressure

• Can be produced on a faster lead time
• Photo can be printed in full color.
• Allows for a variety of colors and placements on a garment.
• Speciality transfers available such as 3M reflective, sparkle, glow-in-the-dark, etc.

Direct To Garment (DTG)

• Great option for low minimum, multi-colored graphics
• Can print high resolution, full-color prints
• Quick turnaround time
• Looks similar to water-based when printing dark colors on light garments. Printing on dark colored garments can resemble a heat transfer.
• No set-up costs
• Cannot pantone match
• Expensive

Embroidery

• A classic look to raise the perceived values of any garment
• Looks great on polos, jackets, bags and sweatshirts
• Pantone matching isn’t always possible, as it depends upon the thread colors available.
• More expensive than your standard screen print
• There is no additional charge for multi-colored logos
• Some details may be lost
• Add dimension through puff embroidery, which raises design off the garment

HDX Print

• This cross between a transfer and embroidery will be sure to make you logo POP
• 3D look adds dimension to your decoration
• Choose from a wide variety of texture styles and finishes
• Provides a high end look to any bag or article of clothing
• Choose between a standard finish and shiny finish

Die Mold Transfer Patch

• An upscale option for adding texture and dimensions to any design.
• Only prints on polyester garments
• High Minimum Order Quantity (300 pcs)
• Great for multi color designs that feature a lot of detail
• Up to 6 square inches of printing space available.

Applique

• A technique that invoices sewing on one or more pieces of custom cut fabric to create an old school, collegiate or professional sports team look
• When you’re looking to create a bold high-end, retail look
• Works best with fleece and outerwear items

Deboss

• Give your garment a 3D appearance by pressing your design into the fabric
• Applicable on virtually any location
• Subtle tone-on-tone look
• Works equally well on black and white
• Only works on polyester and weather proof fabrics

Label Print

• Give your garment that retail look by removing the original tag and replacing it with your own label
• The label can be a woven tag sewn into the garment or a screen print or heat transfer. SOBO will make recommendation according to style, quantity and other factors.
