SOBO Concepts Team Grows Stronger!

By Dean Schwartz (SWAG Master): The famous author William S. Burroughs once said “once you stop growing, you start dying”, and SOBO has no plans to shut down anytime soon! While we remain dedicated to serving our clients in the best way we know how – creatively – we recently realized that we’d need another SOBO Concepts team member in order to sustain our growth. Enter: Spencer Turkington aka the SWAG Sentinel.

Born in Essex Fells, NJ, Spencer attended the University of Richmond and received his bachelors in both Business Administration and Classical Civilization.

A couple of fun facts about Spencer to get to know him a little better:

1. Spencer was a 3 sport athlete during high school (and part-time Harry Potter superfan). He quickly joined the growing Quidditch club upon arriving in Richmond.
2. He was a founding father of the Rho Chi Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI).
3. Spencer worked at Ogilvy Commonhealth upon graduating, before eventually landing at RevHealth as an account coordinator where he, in his own words, “learned more than I ever thought I needed to know about pharma, but plenty more about marketing and timeline management”.

Spencer wants the SOBO family (that means you!) to know he’s honored to be the next SOBO team member. He is eager to start helping our clients creatively connect with their audience. We’ll be training Spencer on the ins and outs of SWAG over the next few weeks and we feel extremely lucky to have such a smart, passionate, creative young man join our ranks.

Once he’s comfortable and demonstrates that his SWAG knowledge meets SOBO’s standards, he’ll mainly be working with Ian, Dean, and our clients to deliver the most creative SWAG possible for your events. SOBO is determined to continue creating only the most memorable products and we believe Spencer’s unique skill-set will set us up for more future successes.
