Chinese New Year And It’s Impact On Your SWAG
By Dean Schwartz (SWAG Master): The holidays are nearly here, but they don’t end after January 1 for everyone. That’s because after the start of the calendar year, it is time to celebrate the Chinese New Year!
But what exactly is the Chinese New Year, and why do they have their own year? The Chinese New Year follows the lunar calendar, and it is often referred to as the Spring Festival. The actual date for the New Year is February 1st, but celebrations are more than just the one day. The Chinese New Year is rich in tradition and is made up of a number of different smaller celebrations. And these celebrations take place over the course of nearly a month.
So, what’s that mean for you?
If you have any overseas projects for SOBO it’s going to be important to place your order ASAP, as Chinese New Year begins at the beginning of February and the factories will be closed for most of the month.
While we love the festivities, the celebrations will have an impact on the production process of many of the Chinese factories we work with. In fact, many factories are closed for the entirety of February.
But fear not! As always, SOBO has you covered. Whether you’re able to place your order in time to work with Chinese factories or domestic, we’ve built fantastic relationships that produce great SWAG all over the world!
Simply put, order early! Orders should be placed ASAP in order to guarantee delivery. SOBO works with many different factories, so we can help you navigate around all the festivities, but better to be prepared.
or call 888.752.0432 to place your SWAG order so you can get your items before celebrations begin!
