SOBO SWAG & THE 2014 COLOR OF THE YEAR
By Dean Schwartz (SWAG Master): Our blog is all about showcasing to you, our readers and friends, all of the wild and cool ways that SOBO separates itself from the run-of-the-mill SWAG shop down the street. So it should come as no surprise that we have an interest – a big interest – in something like an announcement of the “color of the year.”
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give it up for Radiant Orchid! For years, its lived in the shadows of its more popular cousin, Orchid, but times have changed. Recently, the famed and illusive color experts named Radiant Orchid as the 2014 Color of the Year!
And it’s easy to understand why. In Pantone’s official Color of the Year press release, they had this to say about the color: Radiant Orchid blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple—one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health.
Trending colors matter to the masses, and therefore they matter to us. We don’t create SWAG just for the sake of creating it. Not chunky t-shirts. Not bland pens slapped with uninspired logos. Instead, we create fashionable products that are inspired by fashionable trends. Vibrant, stylish and comfortable clothing. Wildly imaginative SWAG from pens, bags, headphones, portable speakers and so much more. Getting the picture? In short, trends matter to what we do. So if Radiant Orchid is part of a trend, count us in!
In terms of wearable items, we have some great options to pick from (they’re not all exactly radiant orchid but they’re in the same family), which you can see in the pictures that we’ve included here. You’ve got your pick of classic tshirts, ¾ sleeve raglan style, yoga pants, v-necks, plunging necks, tank-tops, hoodies, exercise tops and even cardigans.
What’s more? We can customize virtually all of these with logos, embroidery, embossing treatments and much more. Tell us – what’s your idea? What’s that one thing that you saw that you thought would be so cool to try but impossible to pull off? Put us to the test. That’s what we’re here for and that’s what we love about our field of work.
