Case Study: Silver Hill Custom Thank You Box

Like many businesses, strong client relationships is imperative for Silver Hill’s success, and so they wanted to be sure their clients knew they were appreciated. Silver Hill decided to send each client a “thank you” box every time they closed a deal, and they knew SOBO was the perfect place to call to complete their order.

THE CHALLENGE

Silver Hill needed help designing a gift package to send as a “thank you” to their clients following a closed deal with brokers.

• Find items that would be useful in an office environment.
• Keeping Silver Hill Funding top-of-mind was the ultimate goal.
• Each product must match Silver Hill’s unique orange color
• Create a memorable package
• Ensure the package is both durable and remains clean during the shipping process
• Silver Hill doesn’t have space or resources to ship the boxes to their customers as they close deals.

THE SOLUTION

A “thank you” kit fully equipped for any office. The kit contains:

• 4 insulated custom coffee mugs with a laser-etched logo
• 2 Tazo tea bags, a small coffee bag, and an individual wrapped biscotti
• 2 custom notebooks with the Silver Hill logo printed in the center
• Each notebook includes a custom, modern design, square pen
• Custom made every item overseas to ensure they matched Silver Hill’s orange perfectly
• As for shipping, we wanted to make it as simple as possible, so Silver Hill sent us an Excel sheet each month with the names and addresses of the recipients. We took care of the rest, including warehousing, labeling, and shipping.

Considering the difference in the products, the logistics of the shipping, and the uniqueness of their orange, this was no small task! Nevertheless, SOBO got it done.

THE SOLUTION…CONTINUED

Given the high-quality products inside the box, we felt that shipping the mugs and notebooks in a plain brown box was not enough. This box is a final chance to leave a lasting impression with their client, so we made sure that Silver Hill would leave a positive memory with this thank you box. We needed to add some more #SWAGwithStyle!

• To add SWAG we created eye-catching gift packaging to add a premium and exclusive look to the kit.
• The Silver Hill logo is displayed on all sides, along with a big “Thank You” prominently displayed.
• Since the box is white, we needed to ensure it remained clean during the shipping process. Our solution was to shrink-wrap the boxes so the box arrives looking brand-new and in pristine condition.

THE RESULT

• They were so thrilled with the final outcome after the first year that they decided to re-up and continue the deal closing kits into the new year with updated colors and products.
• Since SOBO is responsible for producing and sending the packages out, it’s one less thing Silver Hill has to do each month, and they are thrilled with the final outcome!
